Christian Baute - Executive Producer and Company Director
Christian joined Headline in 2010. Originally from Germany, he has spent 20 years in film and TV production, distribution and international sales. Before Headline he worked with Celluloid Dreams as Senior Vice President Productions and Acquisitions where he was responsible for setting up productions in the UK, the US, Latin America, Japan, Germany and Canada. He frequently collaborated with Paramount, Fox, Warner, and he also worked with Film 4, Canal Plus, Studio Canal, ZDF, BBC and many others.
Prior to Celluloid Dreams Christian has worked with the National Film Board of Canada, and Movimento Productions, his own company, producing TV documentaries and drama. At Headline Pictures Christian's producer credits include THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, THE INVISIBLE WOMAN, QUARTET, and the International EMMY-winning PETER & WENDY.
He has served as Vice President at the Independent Producer's Alliance of France.

Jessamine Hugill - Head of Development
Jessamine is Headline's Head of Development. While at Headline she has worked on the UK remake of CALL MY AGENT (Amazon Prime/Sundance Now), crime drama series KIN (AMC+/RTE), four seasons of MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE (Amazon Prime), TV movie PETER & WENDY (ITV) and TV series THE SABOTEURS (NRK), as well as working across Headline's film and TV development slate. She also identifies new writing talent and sources new projects for the company.
Jessamine has previously worked for Michael Kuhn’s Qwerty Films, on the BFI London Film Festival, as a freelance script reader including for Studiocanal, and on set on various film and TV productions including Lasse Hallstrom’s SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN and David Hare’s PAGE EIGHT. She has a first class degree in Film & Theatre from the University of Reading.

Chris Grezo - Development and Production Executive
Chris joined Headline in 2015 having previously worked as Development Assistant at Spier Films and as a freelance script consultant, and prior to that in various temporary roles at production and distribution companies. His development and production credits include the award-winning African film noir OF GOOD REPORT and the Peter Pan adaptation PETER & WENDY.
He is also a produced screenwriter whose work has featured Richard E. Grant and Sheridan Smith, and has co-written a sitcom for Audible starring Gemma Whelan and Rufus Hound, along with various other projects.

Martine - Finance and Operations Manager
Martine joined Headline in October 2020, following a fixed contract at Doc Society as Financial Controller. With a passion for small business, Martine has worked in an eclectic range of creative companies in fashion, art, design and TV, gaining a wealth of experience along the way. Earlier in her career Martine worked in the finance departments of independent comedy production companies Absolutely Productions and Baby Cow, working on corporate accounts, and pre / post production accounting on shows such as THE MIGHTY BOOSH and GAVIN and STACEY.

Derek Stubbs - Company Secretary
Derek has managed media production companies for over thirty years as well as working as a producer. He brings a wealth of experience in independent film production, combined with experience of consultancy and project management at a European level.
Derek is a director of the company and has particular responsibility for overseeing Headline's financial and business affairs.
